I believe in having a pretty workspace. Keeping it organized and clutter-free helps me feel calm and peaceful as I work. I can be a bit of a messy person, but I really try to keep work areas tidy. It’s difficult to get inspired when all I can think about is how much I need to clean up!
These are a few of my favourite and most useful things, so I keep them close on my desk. They also look gorgeous together.
Grace Cole Lavender & Camomile Nourishing Hand Lotion with lavender essential oil, from Grace Cole’s garden collection – This lotion bottle is so pretty. I love the nature designs all over it in purple (my fave colour)! It smells heavenly – so calming! Lavender and camomile are the perfect combination, without being heavy or overpowering. It leaves my hands feeling smooth and moisturized. Link to purchase here.
Kate Spade New York Saffiano Wristlet – Kate Spade is my favourite designer, and my amazing boyfriend knows that. I saw this in store and knew I just had to have it! I’ve been needing a new wallet, and this one, made of premium vegan leather, is the perfect way to store cards, cash, and my phone. The large fits any smart phone up to 5.7″, which is big enough to fit my Nexus 5, even in its protective case. My guy bought this for me as a special graduation gift! ❤ Link to purchase here.
Younique Lucrative Lip Gloss in Loyal – I always have a moisturizing gloss on hand. This one is perfect because it’s clear, but a has subtle, light-refecting shimmer that makes lips look shinier and poutier (hello, Kendall Jenner lips). I don’t need to worry about it matching my outfit or makeup because it goes with everything. Link to purchase here.
Kate Spade New York Gold Dots 17-Month Agenda – The gold dots are so elegant and gorgeous. I love the quirky little quotes at the beginning of each month and how it contains just the right amount of space to write in. I have the medium size agenda, because it’s a great size to slip into my bag if I need it, but it also comes in a large size. Link to purchase here.
I also always have a novel close by! You can’t tell from the picture, but I have Before I Go To Sleep by S.J. Watson on my desk right now. I’ve already read it, but I’ve got in out so I don’t forget to give it to a friend who wants to borrow it. It’s an interesting mystery-suspense novel about a woman who wakes up every morning not remembering who or where she is. Definitely a page-turner! Find it on Amazon here.
